We believe that this can be accomplished by bringing together amazing professionals all of whom have expertise in the divorce landscape and all of whom understand what it means to collaborate.
At each chapter meeting we bring you a top-notch speaker or program, providing on-going education, and an opportunity to network and collaborate with some of the best divorce professionals in your community. Our meetings are typically an hour. We respect that you are a busy professional and are sure to provide a compelling, productive meeting, the ultimate results of which will meet our goal of supporting folks as they go through divorce and in growing your business, concurrently.

In December 1994, at my swearing-in ceremony, the district court judge instructed the hundreds of newly admitted California Bar members to specialize in our career pursuits. I took this sound advice quite literally.
After earning my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at San Diego, I came home to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University School of Law where I discovered an interest in tax law and the specialty field of employee benefits law. Eager to test my interest in this field, I spent over five years working as an Employee Benefits/Pension consultant and attorney in Los Angeles. In the course of such representation, I worked with all types of defined benefit and defined contribution plans, gaining invaluable experience in document drafting, curing plan defects through IRS correction programs, conducting plan audits to ensure overall compliance with ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, and handling a variety of other legal issues.
In addition to the above tasks, I was responsible for “qualifying” domestic relations orders on behalf of plan administrators. As part of this process, I developed QDRO procedures, sample QDRO language, and guidelines—all of which are sensitive to changes in tax laws and court cases dealing with retirement plans.
My experience with retirement plans and dedication to this highly specialized field of law has brought me recognization among family law attorneys and judges in California as an expert in this field. I frequently appear as a speaker and lecturer at local bar association functions and attorney meetings. I also write a newsletter entitled QDRO quarterly which is sent to attorneys throughout California.

Luba is a Tax Advisor and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) with over 20 years of experience in the tax and accounting industry. As a Certified Tax Strategist and NTPI Fellow, she combines her expertise and empathy to guide clients through life’s toughest transitions—such as divorce or the loss of a spouse. Luba offers money coaching and empowers her clients to make confident decisions, providing the clarity and guidance they need to avoid costly mistakes and secure a stable future.

Luba served as a Treasurer on the school board and local volunteer organization. She has also volunteered for the IRS Tax Assistance Program which aids low income individuals with their tax filings. She is an Enrolled Agent, Certified Tax Coach, Certified Tax Planner, Certified Tax Strategist, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, National Tax Practice Institute Fellow, and a co-author of "Thinking Outside the Tax Box" book published in 2020.
