This Month's Speaker
Robert M. Triplett
Family Security Law Group, APC
Attorney at Law

About Robert M. Tripplett: My primary goal is to provide clients with "Legal" Peace of Mind.
I founded this law firm in 1984, based on the core belief that EVERYONE deserves the PEACE OF MIND that comes from knowing that if they become incapacitated or die, their family is legally protected against:
-Long and expensive court processes
This fundamental belief emanated from an experience I had when I was 13 years old. At that time, my grandparents had just passed away and they, along with my parents, had thought there would be certain money available in the estate to help pay for college for my brother and me. An estate attorney sadly informed my family that this money was instead going to the IRS for taxes. Then the attorney ironically added that these taxes could have been completely avoided if my grandparents had just done some basic estate planning.
So my family had to suffer the consequences from not planning!
I remember wanting to someday be that attorney who could have helped my grandparents and parents have Peace of Mind, rather than despair. Who could have helped make sure college educations were a certainty, rather than a question mark.
Within four years of becoming an attorney, I started my own estate planning firm to set out to be that attorney I envisioned. More than 30 years later, we take great pride in providing families Peace of Mind through proprietary systems we have developed to achieve our clients’ goals of legally controlling their hard earned assets without court intervention or taxation.
If you agree with our core belief that EVERYONE deserves PEACE OF MIND by legally protecting their family, then we should be good working partners and create a long-term relationship of mutual trust and respect.

I am passionate about being a financial advisor because it provides me with the opportunity to change lives. Recently I overheard an exchange between a Korean War veteran and his wife while shopping. This man served his country and now, in his retirement, is living on his military pension and Social Security benefits. He believed, like many people, that he would have enough income to support himself and his wife in his golden years. The reality, however, is heartbreaking as the two discussed which to buy for the month, shoes for him, or the household items they needed. My passion is to work with people to make decisions now, so they don't have to make heartbreaking decisions later.
I work well with people transitioning due to divorce, military members, young families and veterans. I partner with you to identify your goals and assist you in developing wealth strategies that will serve you into your retirement years.
I've been in the Ventura County area since 1991. I volunteer with my local Animal Services department by fostering difficult to place dogs, working to develop behaviors that enable them to become adoptable loving members of a family. I am on the Board of Directors for the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce. I am also the Chair of the Latinos in Business Committee at the Chamber of Commerce and on the Women In Business Committee.

Center4SpecialNeeds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2011 that provides resources, education, and programs for families and individuals affected by developmental disabilities in Ventura County, California. Center4SpecialNeeds' vision is to have families benefit from the information we provide, to help children progress, to help parents restore some balance in their lives and not feel they are in constant crisis mode. We want parents, who are feeling isolated and alone, to feel embraced and supported. We want to provide opportunities for individuals with special needs as they develop into thriving members of our community.
Be Part of the Change!
Center4SpecialNeeds is a non-profit organization and depends on your generous support!
Our monthly goal is for 300 individuals to make a monthly pledge of $20 for one year, which would provide the funding we need to sustain our programs, and expand to reach more individuals and families. For $20 per month, less than the price of one dinner for two at a casual restaurant, you have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for someone with special needs!
- C4SN has undergone a dramatic expansion in our programs for children, teens, young adults, and families affected by developmental disabilities.
- We now employ 6 part-time paid staff and numerous volunteers with special needs!
- Without the safe and compassionate space of our office, many of these young adults would be isolated from the community and spending much of their time at home.
We need your support! You can join Center4SpecialNeeds in making an impact for individuals & their families by making a financial contribution, volunteering, or offering a donation of services or items. Click here to be part of the change and help us reach our goal!
