This Month's Program and Special Guest Leader

Holly Gustlin

Holly is a residential mortgage broker and banker with a passion for helping people buy their home, or keep their current home, with a mortgage payment they can comfortably afford.

She has been a loan officer in the residential mortgage industry for nearly 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, a California Real Estate Broker’s license, Lender’s License, and is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist.

Priority Financial Network’s investors include Chase, Wells Fargo, Citibank, and over 50 other investors, including many who lend only through wholesale providers, not directly to the public. Priority Financial Network has many investors who do loans that are outside the conventional lenders’ guidelines. For example, we have many investors who will use business or personal bank statements to verify income, and many who will do loans after a credit event (i.e. foreclosure, BK, etc.) earlier than traditional lenders.
Holly excels in helping first time home buyers, self-employed people and people going through a divorce. She has earned a reputation for gaining loan approval when others have failed, sometimes with the same bank that declined the loan.

Holly is a passionate consumer advocate. She authored a consumer protection book designed to help borrowers navigate the mortgage process, and ensure they are treated fairly and get a loan that they can afford. It is The Normal People’s Guide to Home Financing. She chose that title because if you don’t understand the nuances of the mortgage industry, you are not an “idiot” or a “dummy”, you are normal. Lending is complicated.

The Divorce Scenario
- This is a terrific program developed by our Encino Chapter Leader, Holly Gustlin. The goal is to create a scenario and use everyone in the room to play out exactly what would happen and how each professional would use their expertise to resolve this particular divorce process.
An outline is provided and followed as each professional is called upon to discuss what needs to be done for their client, the husband or wife, who has been previously assigned. Discussions ensue as we agree and/or disagree on the best strategies to implement legally, financially and emotionally in an effort to meet  the ultimate goal of 'Making Divorce just a little bit Easier'.
Don't miss this program. It is excellent!

DTP Non-Profit of Choice

ABOUT CENTER4SPECIALNEEDS

Center4SpecialNeeds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2011 that provides resources, education, and programs for families and individuals affected by developmental disabilities in Ventura County, California.  Center4SpecialNeeds' vision is to have families benefit from the information we provide, to help children progress, to help parents restore some balance in their lives and not feel they are in constant crisis mode. We want parents, who are feeling isolated and alone, to feel embraced and supported. We want to provide opportunities for individuals with special needs as they develop into thriving members of our community.

Be Part of the Change!

Center4SpecialNeeds is a non-profit organization and depends on your generous support!

Our monthly goal is for 300 individuals to make a monthly pledge of $20 for one year, which would provide the funding we need to sustain our programs, and expand to reach more individuals and families. For $20 per month, less than the price of one dinner for two at a casual restaurant, you have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for someone with special needs!

  • C4SN has undergone a dramatic expansion in our programs for children, teens, young adults, and families affected by developmental disabilities.
  • We now employ 6 part-time paid staff and numerous volunteers with special needs!
  • Without the safe and compassionate space of our office, many of these young adults would be isolated from the community and spending much of their time at home.

We need your support! You can join Center4SpecialNeeds in making an impact for individuals & their families by making a financial contribution, volunteering, or offering a donation of services or items. Click here to be part of the change and help us reach our goal!
