About Divorce Transition Professionals (DTP)

Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specialize in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......

This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. There is nothing like us in the area currently.

August Program

Please RSVP. We will have limited space for this meeting and will start promptly at 8:30 to make sure we get everyone in the loop. Thanks

We are going to do something a little different this month. At least it's different for our DTP chapters. Maybe some of you have done this before.
You’ve probably heard of speed dating, but have you heard of
speed networking? It’s an accelerated way to maximize the number of new connections attendees can make in a short amount of time. It also takes the awkwardness out of having to approach random people. Each round has a set amount of time and attendees rotate accordingly at the end of each round. Essentially, everybody gets to meet everybody else. Each pairing will get a few minutes to say who they are and briefly describe what they do. This gives enough time to get a feel for each other's expertise but not too much time that if it's not a fit, time was not really wasted. If it's a fit, exchange cards, commit to follow and build, build, build that relationship funnel. It's fun, productive, efficient and effective.

Please RSVP. We will have limited space for this meeting and will start promptly at 8:30 to make sure we get everyone in the loop. Thanks.

I am a jeans and t-shirt gal at heart and I am the stylish curvy girl behind Closet Confidence.  I have always been a curvy gal and likely always will be. I am a mom, a wife and entrepreneur.

When I was little, my mom would dress me in fancy clothes that didn’t fit my personality and I was uncomfortable. Over the years I found my own style and realized that you can look good and feel good in clothes that fit you and your personality. You can often take what you have and turn it into something new by adding bling, an accessory, or pairing it with something different.

If you have key essential pieces getting ready can be easy! As a busy mom of two boys this made life soooo much easier! .

I love empowering and showing busy women like YOU how to mix & match what’s already in your closet, how to add key pieces, and accessorize so you look good and feel good when you walk out the door!

Over 7 years ago I went to a Stella & Dot party and fell in love with the bling & accessories. I joined for the discount. I had a full time job, two boys, a hubby, and a busy life. Fast forward 2 years and I met some stylists who were making money by selling S&D and thought to myself “I am a smart gal. I can do that!” So, I did. I loved styling women and helping them turn every day outfits into something more with a necklace, a scarf, or a cute pair of earrings but I only had so many hours in the day.

Five years ago we moved to a new city and knew no one. I could no longer do my corporate job and it was then I decided to become an entrepreneur full time and make my side hustle my main hustle. I went from styling women with S&D jewels part-time to styling women and helping them go through their closets full time.

Want to save time?  Would you love to find new outfits using what’s already in your closet? Feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start? Let’s chat!

DTP Non-Profit of Choice

ABOUT CENTER4SPECIALNEEDS

Center4SpecialNeeds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2011 that provides resources, education, and programs for families and individuals affected by developmental disabilities in Ventura County, California.  Center4SpecialNeeds' vision is to have families benefit from the information we provide, to help children progress, to help parents restore some balance in their lives and not feel they are in constant crisis mode. We want parents, who are feeling isolated and alone, to feel embraced and supported. We want to provide opportunities for individuals with special needs as they develop into thriving members of our community.

Be Part of the Change!

Center4SpecialNeeds is a non-profit organization and depends on your generous support!

Our monthly goal is for 300 individuals to make a monthly pledge of $20 for one year, which would provide the funding we need to sustain our programs, and expand to reach more individuals and families. For $20 per month, less than the price of one dinner for two at a casual restaurant, you have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for someone with special needs!

  • C4SN has undergone a dramatic expansion in our programs for children, teens, young adults, and families affected by developmental disabilities.
  • We now employ 6 part-time paid staff and numerous volunteers with special needs!
  • Without the safe and compassionate space of our office, many of these young adults would be isolated from the community and spending much of their time at home.

We need your support! You can join Center4SpecialNeeds in making an impact for individuals & their families by making a financial contribution, volunteering, or offering a donation of services or items. Click here to be part of the change and help us reach our goal!
