This Month's Speaker

Mary Fritsch-Derrick

Independent LegalShield Associate

805-551-8083 -

My passion in life is to empower individuals, families and businesses as I educate, coach, advise, mentor and become a resource in whatever way I can. LegalShield is the best kept secret around. My role is simple: Tell people what LegalShield is and they want it.

LegalShield opens the door to affordable legal services for the average person who doesn’t contact an attorney due to cost. Our membership protects people across the USA and Canada. Identity Theft is a growing problem.  IDShield educates, monitors PII and restores stolen identities.  In fact, Kroll’s experienced, private investigators do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to get your identity back to its pre-theft status.

Typically, the clients I work with are people who feel uncomfortable with lawyers. Someone might feel the legal system protects only the rich.  Another might feel he has no recourse when his landlord refuses to return a security deposit.  A mother might feel she can’t afford to hire a lawyer when their teenager gets a traffic ticket or has an accident. Parents are concerned about their family’s well-being, worry about things they cannot control, want to protect their families. Membership includes consultation on unlimited issues and questions, document review, free wills, durable power of attorney and much more.

DTP Non-Profit of Choice

Center4SpecialNeeds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2011 that provides resources, education, and programs for families and individuals affected by developmental disabilities in Ventura County, California.  Center4SpecialNeeds' vision is to have families benefit from the information we provide, to help children progress, to help parents restore some balance in their lives and not feel they are in constant crisis mode. We want parents, who are feeling isolated and alone, to feel embraced and supported. We want to provide opportunities for individuals with special needs as they develop into thriving members of our community.

Be Part of the Change!

Center4SpecialNeeds is a non-profit organization and depends on your generous support!

Our monthly goal is for 300 individuals to make a monthly pledge of $20 for one year, which would provide the funding we need to sustain our programs, and expand to reach more individuals and families. For $20 per month, less than the price of one dinner for two at a casual restaurant, you have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for someone with special needs!

  • C4SN has undergone a dramatic expansion in our programs for children, teens, young adults, and families affected by developmental disabilities.
  • We now employ 6 part-time paid staff and numerous volunteers with special needs!
  • Without the safe and compassionate space of our office, many of these young adults would be isolated from the community and spending much of their time at home.

We need your support! You can join Center4SpecialNeeds in making an impact for individuals & their families by making a financial contribution, volunteering, or offering a donation of services or items. Click here to be part of the change and help us reach our goal!
